Strategic Support/Help Desk

The Support Specialist is responsible for managing the implementation activities within the Strategic Services Department.

Responsibilities

  • Support our customers and internal sales team with technical inquiries by telephone, e-mail, and onsite support
  • Develop and implement solutions based on Document Management software based on requirements given
  • Investigate problems and common errors using resources, technical tools, and any other means necessary
  • Keep track of common issues and document them
  • Perform and lead training of our document management software

Requirements

  • MIS/Computer Science Degree (or necessary training of equivalent nature)
  • Excellent understanding in Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008)
  • Excellent understanding of databases (MSSQL, MySQL)
  • Strong customer service communication and skills
  • Knowledgeable in General Network Infrastructure
  • General PC/Software Troubleshooting Ability
  • Programming and scripting ability and understanding a plus
  • C++, C#, JAVA, ASP.NET, HTML, Web Services, .NET
