Impact becomes founding partner of university sales program

A sizeable financial contribution helps equip area students with cutting-edge technology and valuable real-world experience.

Impact and the University of Wisconsin at Parkside officially announce a Founding Premier Level Partnership with the UW-Parkside Sales Program. With a generous donation of $15,000 for the academic year, Impact is making a significant contribution to furthering the aims, potential, and effectiveness of the UW-Parkside Sales Center.

The Sales Center will provide UW-Parkside students a state of the art space in which to hone their sales skills with a wealth of tools designed to help them compete and succeed in the modern workplace. The Sales Center and Innovation Corridor at UW-Parkside capitalize upon the reputation the university has built as one of the premiere Sales programs in the region and the nation.

The agreement entitles Impact to significant branding and increased presence throughout UW-Parkside as a Founding Partner, including signage in the new Sales Center. Impact executives and managers will also have the opportunity to interact with students in the form of guest lectures, speaking engagements, and judging at sales contests. Impact will serve as the official sponsor of the UW-Parkside Sales Team, meaning students will wear apparel and utilize merchandise supplied by Impact as they network and compete in regional and national sales competitions.

Both Impact and UW-Parkside look forward to the mutual benefits that will come from this sponsorship. Said UW-Parkside Business Dean Dr. Dirk Baldwin: "The support of Impact will help us develop more sales talent to meet the needs of our region." Impact Director of Recruiting Cynthia Skurski expressed similar optimism for the future of Impact recruiting efforts at UW-Parkside: “Impact is always seeking innovative ways to amplify recruiting efforts, and this sponsorship will allow us to identify potential candidates for employment at Impact in a meaningful and effective way.”

The sponsorship is effective through the 2018 academic year.
